Hi,

i'm Daniel from Germany. This is my first picture in Povray, after playing
around and learning for some time. It was inspired by a source i got from
the scene-files-newsgroup. I liked it and i wanted to make one, where the
pins are displaced by an imagemap. So thats what i made. Comments?

Greetings

Daniel

Hello Daniel and welcome,

not bad for a first picture although i don't know how much you used from
the scene you mentioned. The pins could be improved to look a bit less
like plastic.

I didn't use anything from the other scene, i just liked the 'thing' , and
wanted to make it, so that you can use different images for the pins. I will
try to improve the textures, at the moment there are from the standard
includes.

Daniel

Bring up the brilliance on the metallic look- then the pins will be pretty
sharp! ;-)

Cheers!

That's a good first image.
