I had my computer repaired just the day before yesterday and started this project
yesterday. The modeling is almost done, I haven't written the textures yet. Be
mercyful: this is my first attempt at modeling watches.

Cheers,

nice plastic watch... I miss some reflections in the glass and on the rest
of the watch too, unless you intended it to be a plastic watch? I really
like the moddeling though... did you notice the black patch in the fore-last
link at the closing-part?
Oh, and what is the little display for? are you sure you can't see anything
from this angle?

I'm sure that when JRG wrote "I haven't written the textures yet", he didn't intend
for you to
just ignore him.

I'm really impressed by this modelling (assuming it is in POV SDL). Is it? If so, how
did you
orientate the links to follow the curves of the strap? Aligning to splines?

All the best,

Andy Cocker

Thanks.

Yes, superellipsoids caused lots of rendering errors... I can't do much for that
(except post-processing of course :)

Thank you very much. Yes, the links are evenly placed along a spline.

Hmm I feel like I didn't quite answer your question. The links are oriented with the
Reorient_Trans () macro.

I guess I'd better go right on and remove that message to save me anothe 10
replies stating that he said he hadn't written the textures yet

Hey, chill out. It was only a little light-hearted ribbing. I didn't mean to offend.
Apologies.

All the best,

Andy Cocker
