This is based on the same function I used in my posting on p.b.a. I just thought
it was interesting to see the underlying function.

function.jpg shows the value actually returned by my yin-yang function, i.e. it
uses colour_map { [0 rgb 0][1 rgb 1] }

yin-yang.gif is the same function, but using colour_map { [0.5 rgb 0][0.5 rgb
1] }

And, just for fun, outline.gif shows what happens if you pick some more complex
colour_maps.

The source is pretty simple, I'll post it if anyone wants it.

Comment, questions, etc.?
P.S. can anyone think of a use for this, or have I just spent 2 hours doing
something pointless? ;)

I like these very much - those animations in p.b.a., too. It would be very
nice to have a look at the source.
