Still needs more of a blue component to the snow, as it looks more like
sand at the moment.

I forget, are you using radiosity? If so, upping the ambient of what
looks like a blue sky sphere might help.

But it's definitely too orange IMO.

Jamie.

It looks like an igloo in a sandstorm to me. It's too warm.

I'll look into it.

Thanks for the image, it helps visualizing what you guys
actually expect when saying "more blue". :-)

Regards,

Tim

As mentioned to Tony, I'll use more blue on my
next attempt...

Or change the snow to sand... Nah. More blue.

Nope, no radiosity.
Okay, less orange, more blue. Got it.

Thanks for the comment,

Tim

IMO, it needs to be lighter than Joshuas picture though, which is a
little too purple for me. More of a sky-blue kinda colour.

Still makes me think "Arrakis" (Dune), "Kesrith", or "Kutath" (Faded
Sun). Looks like the very end of a sandstorm, with lots of dust still in
the air. Maybe you should give up snow and do a desert, this would make
a very good one. Drop the igloo and add some tents...
