These are renders(originals are 1600x1200) of an old scene I just got
re-interested in... Can anyone find anything wrong with them? Comments
will be appreciated. Thanks.

Also, source is available on request... but of course, the image maps are
way too big to send.

Nice planet renders! Did you use scattering media for the atmosphere?

The blue glow around it is a little unrealistic. Is the atmosphere really
that high?

Is the moon the right distance and size?

Other than that, it's very realistic.

I actually think I set it correctly in relation to the earth.

Yeah, the blueness of that doesn't really look realistic. If you want the
glow, maybe you should make it closer to white than blue. Up to you.

Ah, ok.

One other thing - have you fiddled with the brilliance value? I think it
might look better with a lower brilliance (to make it lighter). Maybe you've
already done this, it's hard to tell. Same for the moon.

Lowered brilliance value, dimmed atmosphere, moved moon(wasn't right after
all)

Look good?

It looks good, but it doesn't match images from the Shuttles. Watch the
NASA channel and you'll see what I mean.
