Render time? How did you do the knotholes? Procedural only?
How does it look when applied to an sphere or other objects?

Did you use a normal, and if so, what accuracy setting did you give it?

Thanks. A simple planes normal is enough for me :-)

Yes, I used a normal. I used the default accuracy of 0.02 but I think it
also depends on the scale of the scene.
