to become more familar with some things i made a this test scene. my aim is
to make the lightrays in fog visible. after i googled a while i only found
this:
http://www.amabilisplus.com/3DCanvasDocumentation/tutorialraytracevisiblelight.htm
i remember that there was a website on which was explained how to make
lightrays through a window like dia-effekt. does anyone know where to find
information or the described site?
critics and suggestions are welcome, although this scene may often seen.

There's a sample scene that comes with POV 3.1g that demonstrates what I
think you want to do... (I don't recall which sample scene, but it uses
media.)

Scattering media. It's difficult to master but almost the only realistic
solution. Check the docs.
