I've had this scene in mind for a while and I'm try to tell a story with the
imageand title. The image is intended to have a washed-out look and a bit
foggy, with missing elements. The seperation near the base of the tree is
intended. Opinions please.

hope, my date does not invite me to Polena's Italian Cafe...
it would look more realistic if you make the wall solid. i could imagine a
dark hollow with stars and dark clouds would darken the scene a bit. the
roots should not have reflection.
it is a nice summerday-scare. go on.

Very good modeling, but the colors are quite a bit washed out on my monitor
at least.

Tell your date you don't like Italian ;^)

I have given a lot of thought to completing the wall, but I wanted a more
surreal feel to the image. Like a fragment memory, its just not complete.

I was thinking of this too, maybe with a street light shinying on the
table...

They are not truly roots. They are intended as tentacles and wanted them to
appear slimy, but not plastic. Do you think it is to subtle?

Thanks! Any counter-points?
