Hi,

have I missed something in the docs, am I stupid or have
I finally discovered a bug in the RC ????

While trying to create a lampshade by using scattering
media, I have simply added a mirror and a spotlight
that doesn't even touch the lampshade.

So where did the black thing on the lamp shade
reflected by the mirror come from?

max_trace_level   64

and the media is defined as:

    interior{
       media{
         method 3
         scattering {1, 1}  // rgb <1.0, 0.9, 0.3>*1
   //       emission 0.5
         samples 1,6
         intervals 5
       }
    }

changing the intervals or the samples makes no difference.

The shade is a simple difference of two cones.

When replacing the spotlight by a simple point light,
everything looks right.

Please tell me, I'm confused...

...so long
-Ive
