That's very slick..

I've been reading up on the SphereSweep, but I've not really gotten to
understanding them yet.. do you have any sugestions?!

Love the pick.. Add some glow behind it, put it on a dark BG and I got a new
desktop.. :)

An interesting image.  I've never used sphere sweeps yet, I'll have to

Well, I used a cubic spline for the sphere sweeps.  The tricky thing
to keep in mind is that the first and last points that you specify
for a cubic spline are not visable.  Read the pov-docs.  Play with
it.  You'll figure it out.  If I could figure it out, just about most
anyone can.  :)
