Here's my latest project...

Blocking out the big stuff and will start working the details once that is
done.

I've included a scan of one of the working pictures I'm using for
comparison.

Comments?

I also like it! However, the left tower has a series of bricks that look
with a pattern which I don't like too much...

Fernando.

Good start. Are you using macros? Will you be using radiosity?

Good start,
IMHO you'll have to find a way to put chained stones(don't know the english
word for those bigger stones at corners, floor levels, doors and windows)
I'm looking forward the follow up.
Marc

You should know Ib... I've taken inspiration from your historical works...

No macros.

Radiosity... perhaps... still working on understanding exactly how that
works... some things seems to not do anything for and others, just seems to
take a heck of alot longer to render.

Time will tell. Stay posted.

Version II

Had to dump the original and started over with a new layout to get the scale
right... would have taken hours to get the old one rescaled correctly... new
one came together in just a short while... 4 hours.

See second post of the front gate.
