This is based on a ZBrush picture that I did, that I decided to re-do in
Pov-Ray. With all the talk of sub-surface scattering recently, I tried to
do something similar using media with the bar of soap.

This is the closest I could get so far.

Here are the texture settings I used, so if anyone has any ideas how I could
improve the texture, please let me know.

texture {
pigment {
color rgbf <1,1,1,1>
}
finish {
ambient 0.0
diffuse 1
phong 20
phong_size 50
specular 0.4
}
}
interior {
ior 1.33
media {
intervals 10
samples 1,1
confidence 0.9
variance 1.0/128
ratio 0.9
scattering {
2, rgb <20,20,20>
extinction 0.4
}
method 2
}
}

Wow! That looks really good. If I were to change anything I think the soap
my be just a little too shiny.

Here's a minor update. I included the bump map for the tiles.

NO! You're not supposed to dro pthe soap!

Needs bubbles with iridescence, etc.

Looks good, although the soap is way to shiny (even
for a wet state).
As others mentioned, you should add some bubbles/foam,
and perhaps some water-splashes onto the tiles.

Perhaps even a subsurface-scattered foot or two of them
in the background...

Hold on, hold on. Keep your shirt on. I'm not done with this image yet.
It is a WIP, you know. :)
