Since everyone else is using the athene model... I had a scene pop in my
head for it... tell me what yout think... Playing with radiosity, etc.... I
still have to fix the "stairs" leading up to the temple... too much space
(they are rounded cubes in moray)...Any suggestions?

- Chris

its def. got potential.. add some sky.. i think it would look pretty
incredible if you filled the background full of tree's and plants.. it would
add a lot of nice shadows. you could also add some details to the flat
area's on the arches.

The pillars seem kind of short.

Slightly reduce the brightness of the radiosity maybe, the flats on the left
facing towards the statue for example are too bright.

I think rounded cubes in moray are in fact superellipsoids - quite a bad
idea to call them rounded cubes...

There seems to be ambient finish on the statue.

No I don't think so. I have been playing around with them on my upcoming
image and I found they rendered about 2 - 3 times faster then an equivalent
superellipsoid. Besides Moray can already create superellipsoids.

Moray rounded cubes are CSG union of boxes, cylinders (edges) and spheres
(vertices), look at generated code :)

Your columns don't match Doric, Ionic, or Corinthian styles.

but of course.... they are "Purdy" style.... ;)

No, I didn't go after any specific style.... I was just playing around..
I found the statue in the "Brazil" thread.. here it is - I had to look
around a bit to get to it, but this gets you to the web-site.
