Here's an updated version of my logo collection. The Metallica, Testament,
Iron Maiden, and Slayer logos are CSG. The Solitude Aeturnus logo is a
height field, and the Iced Earth logo is a true type font beveled with Chris
Huff's macro. Any suggestions for improvements?

I forgot to mention this - I'm very unsatisfied with the texture used on the
Testament logo. I'd particularly appreciate suggestions for improvements in
that area...

Very nice! Just one thing: the middle "A" in the Metallica logo seems a bit
odd to me, is it really the genuine shape ?

I agree that the middle A of Metallica is funny. Also the Solitude one is
hard to read.

Thanks for the tips - The "A" is correct, but I think it looks a little
funny because the extruded part makes the cross bar look too thin. I'm not
sure how to fix it, maybe make both colors more similar?...
