I got a new mechanical pencil at work the other day and I was so excited, I
just had to model it.

I think it's more like YKYLPTMW... (You know you like pencils too mych
when...) or a
YKYRDNMTGEW... (You know you really don't need much to get excited when...)
;)
Anyway, nice pen and looks like you did good work with the coding too.

Very well modeled! I like the lighting as well. Looks like a shot from the
pencil factory's R&D department, or something.
Don't mind the others -- they're just jealous of your new pencil. ;)

Really great modelling, though I much prefer a traditional wooden pencil
myself.

That is beautiful! What got my attention immediately was your comment
about needing to model it. I feel that way too. I love your attention
to detail on the black grip part. And the subtle reflections on the
body of the pencil are GREAT!
Only critique...remove focal blur, it's not necessary on such a small
object. I think your great detail would be better complemented without
it.
Nice work.
