Here is my latest rubber duckie image. Hopefully he looks a little happier
and less wooden now. I attempted adding some sort of subsurface scattering
to the rubber with no success so I rempved it for now.

Nice background. The duck still looks wooden. I think that the normal on the
bill contributes to this, also the sharp corners where the eye meets the
rest of the duck.

Thanx. Actually the bill and eyes are supposed to look painted, while the
body is yellow rubber. I do agree about the eyes though, I should attach
them rather then making them seperate objects.

I just thought I'd point out that paint on all the rubber ducks that I've
seen doesn't have sharp edges, it always seems to have spread a little
bit. Maybe changing the sharp edges would help?

It is the bumpy normal on the bill and not the finish which I believe
contributed to the wooden effect.

I like the duck, but whoever's been scrubbing those tiles has far too much
