I'm working on a small, interactive puzzle game and I decided to give
POV-Ray's photon functionality a try.
I had a hard time getting rid of some weird artifacts. It turned out that
the bottoms of those glass objects touched the board. Translating them
upward a tiny little bit was the solution.

I think that this might work out better in the long run if you were to raise
the light source and increase the size of the tiles so that each piece's
reflection and photons are within one tile. I know that the pieces will not
actually be touched, but the game might look more realistic if the pieces
had a more "grabbable" shape.
