Yup, now a dog-shaped one?

I like it! You should have posted it even if no one else had posted anything
in this morning!!!!
Fernando.

That is a really nice Celtic Knot, would you mind posting the source, i have
been meaning to do up a big one, and had no idea how to begin.
Thanks
K

i don't have enough of the source left to be much help. As for where to
begin, I began by using a torus and several cylinders to plan out the knot
intersections. I then numbered the intersection points of the knot and made
an array that traced the entire knot through the intersection points. The
intersection points were on the x,y plane, so I added <0,0,1> to each point
which was meant to be underneath.
After tracing the path of the knot, I went back into my array and added
points in between the intersections to improve the shape of the curve.
Hope this helps.

I used to love drawing these knots during history lessons at school ;)
Thanks for your simple pov solution. Easier than trying to nudge a
formula into producing, hopefuly, what you want.

I'm not so sure. The results are more interesting when building the knot by
hand, however.
Did you catch the Celtic knot formula I posted under Cheap_Sweep posted?

Yup. Its with a bunch of other interesting stuff in my "play" folder
but got too many other things going right now to play :-(
