Hello Chris,

It's the first time I saw the cornell box with such strong colours. Seems
interesting. But your post was above a megabyte and I know this won't please
everybody. Would it be possible to use png format next time?

I must say I don't see the wrong colours you mention. But for realism on the
whole, it would be good with a visible light source, and the soft shadows
are far too strong, I believe.

It certainly doesn't please me...  I'm trying for 15 minutes now to download the

Sorry about the post size.... like I said, newbie...I've never posted in
newsgroups before....  won't happen again.  As
for the colors, I just guessed from memory of what the cornell box looked
like... Not very scientific, I know....

So, I re-rendered at 1024X768 and converted to jpeg... I went back to the
original settings I used so you could see what I mean, I also changed my
area light from 9x9 to 5x5.  The blotchyness is on the lower part of the
sphere...
