Something I've been working on for the last week or so. Ship is
modelled in Rhino. Explosions by H.E Day.

You moved your post, so I have moved my comment.
Excellent so far. Needs debris and ship detail, but I know that you will add
that. Some media to suggest smoke around the village would also be nice. I
like the shape of the ships a lot.

The ships have a kind of dry look to them and seem out of place some how.
Debris on the steps but I'm sure you were going to do this anyway.
Thinking about the ships, there seems to be a bit of scale confusion too.

I feel it is an enlightening issue, the light seems false for the ships
(good shape btw)

I was thinking something on those lines too, asthough there's a
lightsource very close to each ship.

Could you explain this a bit more?

What's the problem?

The light is temporary. I plan to have most of the scene (except the
passage)
lit by the explosions

Thanks

The light is a long way away, above and behind the camera, non
fading and temporary

They look asthough they're mado out of stone, and not reflective in the
least, I think you'd expect some shinyness from the ships, maybe putting
some light in the distance behind them would help with this.

They look really close to the camera but small.
