ok, i think my eye is in a good state of usability. Samuel Benge's eye still
has some better attributes than mine, but i'll live =) His looks really
nice. source will be available in the povray.text.scene-files group.

peace,
ross

His real eye or Pov'ed? Where can I see it?

This looks nice, but if you're still looking for suggestions on how to
improve the look, I've got three for you: Make a blend between green and
white part instead of a sharp edge. Reduce reflection on white part or make
it blurred. Remove the thin white circle near the edge.

Then you will "see".... ;o))

Best regards,
Hugo

his Pov'ed eye. there is a scene file in povray.text.scene-files from
6/19/99 that he posted. thanks for your suggestions, i think the thin white
circle is a reflection, i'm not sure though as i havn't change the camera
angle or lighting. the other things you mentioned are places where Benge's
eye is better than mine. thanks for your comments!

ross.

In this version I aslo saw what looked like reflections that weren't
present before, have you added clouds or something, that may be it.
