Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, here it is, I know you've always wanted
a browser that incorporates POV-Ray in some form or other, for just 12
payments of $0.00, you can get this amazing...
Sorry.
I was just looking at a very good "tweaking" website I found recently, and I
saw something that would let you change the Internet Explorer logo that is
shown at the top-right of the window, you know, the spinning thingie? Save
the picture somewhere on your HD, then go to Start>Run> and type "regedit"
(w/o quotes). Double-click on "HKEY_CURRENT_USER", then "Microsoft",
"Internet Explorer", "Toolbar".
Right-click in the right pane of the window, select New>String Value and
name it "SmBrandBitmap" (again w/o quotes). Then, once you've entered the
name, double-click your "SmBrandBitmap" and, in the dialog box that appears,
type the path to whereever you've saved the file. Open IE, and voila!
there's your little pov logo.
Of course, for non-IE or -Windows users, this information is completely
useless, but oh well.
Comments? Questions? Criticism (most likely ;-)?
