Hello everyone! I got permission to use the company's computers today so I
thought I would post a couple images I made last summer while I have the
chance.
The first was inspired by some natural caves here in the area. Evidently a
creek cut straight through a mass of limestone, over time making an awesome
cave you can swim through. In this image, a number of height_fields were
placed to make the walls and areas_lights used to simulate reflected light.
The second is in response to a number of dreams I had about brick walls
smack dab in the middle of my path. Typical of life I guess..... Anyways, a
simple macro was made for the brick walls, isosurfaces for the arches and
glass spheres with faked caustics for the lamp shades.
Any comments and/or critisms are welcome!

I love you work. The colours are great and the scenes have nice ambience.
One piece of constructive criticism is in order, though. In the second pic
the lamp shades blend in with the walls too much IMHO. I think it'd be
better if they were more noticeable

Only part that doesn't look like a photograph is the water; the ripples
look flat.

Great pictures as usual especially the lighting.
In the second pic the bricks actualy look like soft cushions, should they
look like that? I suppose it would be easier to break through.

Great images! I particularly like the first one. One thing, though- the
bricks look a little too round, like pills or something. Other than that, a
very interesting image.

how did you generate the images for the height fields? They look like
they could be noise3d

Looks like some medieval cathedral. Those are impresive isosurfaces.
