Very nice, clean scene. And since I love spheres I like this pic too :-))
The floor reminds me to a bathroom in a hotel. Don't know why. Possibly once
I had a room in a hotel with a similar pattern.
Are the black tiles just black or are they holes? The don't have any
reflection. Look like a black hole. If there is a tile it might get a tiny
bit more realistic if there is some reflection on them. Especially in the
bright area to the lower right.
What about a bit of soap and some water? *g*

Thank you. Yes, the black tiles need some highlites. The tiles also need a
little more grout between them. This is an old pic for which I no longer
even have the source. Just an experiment with a macro on which I was working
at the time.

They are all individual tiles. I wrote a macro that would take the
intersection of a given shape, the +y plane, and four other planes which
form the visible area and then fill that intersection with one of two hex
tile patterns. The macro would then write out an include file including all
of the tiles and their bounding boxes (had to turn error messages off.)
Lost the macro a long time ago with a hard-drive crash, but I still have
this pic b/c I e.mailed it to myself at work.
