How does this look? Too heavy?

Looks like she walked this way many times. Moreover I can't see any difference
in heigh of snow outside and inside footprints. Considering amount of snow on
the trees there should be deep holes in snow, IMO. Also I think this heavy
case looks like above snow while should be in hollow somehow (perhaps
additional amount of snow around case could help)

I think he means having snow piled up around the wardrobe. Also I think
(this is from memory) that the wardrobe doesn't actually have a back;
the kids just went into it, pushed the coats aside and tada!
Perhaps have individual footsteps instead of a trail? Nice piled-up snow
effect though.

Ah! I was slightly puzzled. I haven't yet done the general snow around wardrobe.

Unfortunatelly You can always be puzzled with my posts.
My English limits precision of statement. Since I started sending opinions
about your Narnia I just continue it for newer versions. I do it becouse I
very like progress of your image.

He is good, isn't he? Even considering he swiped the lamp from Gilles :)
(And do I detect a whiff of Poser? :)

IMHO yes. It looks like she didn't pick up the feet from the floor while
walking (which might be fun, anyway).
I think individual steps, stamped into the snow would be much more
realistic.

Question: do you intend to add some wind effects to the snow areas? The
scene looks very clean, no wind was blowing since the last snowfall....
And don't forget the animal footprints around the trees! :-)

She will get a cold in this light clothes. Then you must give her a red
nose.

However, the snow buldge along the door looks great. You shouldn't change
that.
Very nice stuff.

SY

Yeh, I'm going on memory here (a long time since I've seen snow, boo-hoo). I'll
go for individual steps tonight, with just minor general mess along her path.

The thought had occured....

She has one. Honest... Actually, there's a load of furs in the wardrobe, so I
could put her in one of those. Busts the plot again, but what the hell..

Thanks - merging a hf with an iso took a little thought, but was satisfying to
achieve...

The snow was crunching underfoot (in the story) so you'll want the footprints
to not be too deep. Speaking as someone who has seen snow recently (though
not all that recently, thank whoever has so far spared us from real snowfall
this winter) you should make the footprints clean and distinct, with perhaps
a short extra stroke at the heel (where her foot would have swung down through
the snow, since she's probably not marching) and some small-to-medium piles of
snow in front of the toe, where the loose snow falls off the top and front
of her shoes as she walks.

And put that crossbar on the lamppost!

Thanks - that sounds about right. Forwarded to home for reference...

Now I'm worrying that one half of the crossbar would be missing - or would that
be Lamarkian?
