Hi all:

I think my idea is taking shape, so I wanted to know what do you think about
it.
It's a WIP for the IRTC's World within Worlds.
The job has been done, until now, with hamapatch and moray (as you can see
by the effect of the new rules for the camera in povray beta10).
Everything is modelled and textured by me, except the toy car (a 3DS free
mesh). Some are old reworked models (as you can see in the bug or the desk)
but most of all are new models (I'm specially happy with the built-in
cupboard, you can open its doors, and slide its drawers..., all CSG).

it's a WIP in its initial state, some textures have to be changed, also the
lightning, and there are more models to include).
See you.

Very good so far Txemi. My only comments? Rotate the 'learning to walk'
buggy thing, (sorry, don't know what they're called...), so that the handle
doesn't interfere with the chair legs.

  Make the tiles bigger?

  Nice concept though.

Very very good. :))

I like this picture a lot.

But there's something Imust point out: the picture with the two angels looks
out of place to me.
You have lots of toys, and lots of strong colors that show the presence of
children.
Well, I think the painting is a little bit too "serious", too dark, too
"real world" to be in this scene.

I think you should put there something more cartoonish, or mabe a board,
covered with drawings made by children or something.

It's just my opinion, thats all. The image is excelent.:)

Best regards.

Good work so far. I like the concept.

Keep in mind that a playroom ought to be pretty messy. Since this is a
WIP, I suppose that you have plans for many more objects that would help
create such an untidy appearance.

Hi Txemi,

I like your idea very much, I believe it is quite original. I love that
rocket, however, I have only I minor comment about it: I would never let my
children play with that rocket, its point looks TOO dangerous!

Congratulations on your work!

Fernando.

A lot of details make your scene quite realistic!

Just few thing which came into my mind:
.) the picture doesn't match the toy scene. a cartoon would convince me
more
.) shouldn't there be some carpet on the floor? playing board games on a
wooden floor is not a good idea :-)
.) some wrinkled sheets of paper next to the pencils would be cool
.) the watch looks very flat. I don't know why but it looks like built IN
the wall instead of hanging on it. Try to leave a gap between the watch and
the wall (there must be some device mounted on the wall where the clock is
hanging on)

Good job! I'm eger to see the progress of this pic. I hope you'll post it
regularly?
all the best
SY

The picture doesn't look out of place to me, because my brother used to
have the same one in his room! Perhaps you could apply some
photo-manipulation to make a more "cartoony" version of it; might be a
good compromise?
Nice touch with the mug!

I see black spots on top of the ball, maybe this is just a 3.5b10 thing
I've seen the same in another totally different image, the same balck
spots in an unexpected place. Is there media inside the ball?

How about some cusions and a soft rug for the children to play on, that
hard floor won't do their knees any good.
