I've changed the lightning and added some photons (a million and a half,
more or less).
I think it looks fine.
What do you think?

I think you should change the background, maybe something dark would be
good, like a black wood table or so.

very nice scene

.) the silver band on the "pot" (sorry) looks a little bit too blurred. i
think it is too smooth. on a silver band which is that bumpy should have
some scratches or sharp dents in it.

.) sionce the "pot" is obviously translucent it might be cool to have som
kind of reflection which can be seen -through- the thing. since it is very
reflective it doesn't look like semi-transparent.

the chain is cool
where did you get the idea about the arrangement in the scene?

You are right.
I'm using normal bumps, but I'm not happy with the result.
Maybe I'll try other solution.

It has a high phong value in the finish statement. I've changed it, and now
it looks more like it is in the reallity, as you can see here.
I'm working on a new version with a wooden table as Christoph proposed.
Maybe I'll put more objects to "dress" the scene a little bit.

Thanks, but I will only keep the long links for the stones, the others will
be normal links. If you want the source for the long links you only have to
