It's been a while since my last post here (and since my last render :-( ). But today
I said no, I didn't want to spend another day studying stats (how boring), math,
C-programming, etc. (University sucks, when you have 3 exams within one month :( ).
So I closed the books, turned on the computer, opened POV and said to myself: "Let's
code!".
Actually, I should have been hungry, because the first idea which came to me was a
traditional kitchen scene (yeah, I like originality), a theme which I had never
explored before. Since my mom really likes coffee, and I often have to prepare it,
I've been always fascinated by coffee-percolators. Their shape's so strange and
unique. That's why I decided to start from my mom's old crock ;)
At first it looked like a simple model, but it took me the whole afternoon to model
and texture it (~750 lines of CSG!.).
Hopefully I will find the time to develop the project during the next days and will
post my kitchen scene as it gets populated.

  Well, if all the rest of the objetcs will be so nicely modelled, I'm 
really waiting for that kitchen scene. 

  The modelling of this coffee-percolator is really superb. I can certify 
it because I use everyday one of these, exactly the same model and with a 
similar level of dirt.  Perfect!

Yeah, no I actually finished it at about 8.00 pm and then launched the render.
Having a real object as reference really speeds things up!
