I think the orange leaves give it an Autumn-like appearance.

I changed some things, I think now is more realistic. What do you think?

Fernando.

It is much more realistic. The diminishment of the radius of the trunks
is much better.

Thanks. I'm still trying with more combinations because there are many
tweakable parameters involved. Only one little change results in a very
different tree.

Thanks for the comments.

Fernando.

This already looks quite good, but some randomness in the growth
directions would probably be good (the single segments look fairly
straight).

On the other hand the leafs look a bit too random, their orientation
should have more regularity IMO.

Yes it is starting to shape up. I love trees like this with their tangled
branches.
As has been already mentioned, the new stopping point is the lack of
knarledness in the branches.

I find the sky distracting btw, it seems too saturated and the cloud pattern
a little too regular.

I agree, I don't like the sky either, but it's the best one I found in
textures.inc and I really was mainly concentrating in the tree.

Unfortunately some new duties appeared today, so I might not be able to
continue playing with POV for a while... :(

Thanks for your comments,

Fernando.

Hi Christoph. As (think) I mentioned before, my algorithm increases the
randomness each time the branches go to a higher level. I agree, maybe
there's a need for more randomness at the beginning (the trunk) and less
randomness at the end (the leaves). I'm getting busy on these days, so I may
not find the time to play with this soon... :/

Thanks for your comments,

Fernando.
