hi, I watched an old StarTrek film yesterday, so I decided to make my own
StarTrekish like spaceship. Here is the beginning.
Any comments or suggestions ?

Yeah, I have a suggestion! Make a model of the ship they SHOULD
have used on 'Enterprise'. I.e. looks pre-TOS.

Call me a newbie, but what does POASOAPRWR mean? I figured out "RSOCP", but
I can't figure out this one.

I've no idea how a pre-TOS look looks like.

Don't try it any longer. I just didn't know a better title for the message.

Thanks.

ambient and radiosity. The only problem is I've used
phong and specular to archieve this metall look and so the metall doesn't
interact very good with the radiosity.
A solution would be to use real reflection blur, but I only have a 433
celeron, so...
Do you think that the blue color(or is it colour?) should be a bit lighter?

Apparently neither do the people working on 'Enterprise'.
In other words, FAKE IT. ;) Take TOS Enterprise, compare
with movie Enterprise, compare with TNG Enterprise, then
do a backwards projection on style change.

Try this. It is about 80 earth years pre TOS.

*nod* That's the ticket! (I have a copy of the Star Trek
Starfleet Tech. Manual which has a bunch of pre-TOS/TOS
design stuff, and it would have been much better to use one
of THOSE designs for NX-01 than some post-Voyager hightech)
