Hi
This is my first post here. Just want to test. Attached is a rejected scene
for the last IRTC round "Fantasy and Myths". Its all done with Megapov 0.7
except for the Poser figures. Hope you like it.
Regards, Christoph

Looks good, but could you have compressed the image a bit? 510k is a bit
big, and the people on dial-up accounts aren't going to be too happy.
Beyond that, it looks good. The wolves in the foreground are a bit dark on
my monitor, and should be lightened up to show the detail.

Welcome! :)
The image looks great indeed.
On my monitor the wolves look too dark too.
Very nice girl.
Can you post a render of the girl alone, in detail? Looks very good.
Best regards.

Hello!
Interesting image. Yes, I like it.
The lighting is odd, though. To much contrast, I would expect or a higher
falloff rate of the light_source is needed. Don't know for sure myself what
bothers me.
Why was it rejected by the IRTC?

I'm assuming he meant he rejected it - it's hard work to get them to reject
anything - has anyone recently, apart from the illustrious Gwiyer, pulled this
off?

Oh, I see. Hadn't heard of a rejection yet, so I was curios what would have
triggered it in this case. My thoughts went in the direction of missed
deadlines or something like that.

Hello!
Sorry that my wording caused this missunderstanding! It was not the IRTC who
rejected the image, I rejected it myself because I was not quite satisfied
with the result and never submitted it. I made another image "temple in the
jungle" which I finally submitted. Sorry again but being Swiss my English
may be not quite perfect.

Welcome aboard Christoph
The image is a bit big in file size, but now that you know you
won't do it again, everyone does the same for their first post.
The image looks good, but I'd expect the light not to be so bright
where the girl is, the fire looks good, and as others have said
the dogs look a bit dark. The problems posed by the lighting
situation are very challenging for this image I wish you luck with
it.
Look forward to seeing the final image.
