Can't you just do it with a macro?
By the way, shouldn't the light source turn with the Santa, rather than
being fixed relative to the observer? The way you've got it at the
moment the specular highlights seem to be deep inside the Santa's
bodies. (I guess you might need to use light groups for that, so that
each little scenelet has its own light group.)

If you move the light source, the shadows then change in ways
that are different than just moving the camera ...
The only way to get correct left/right images is to only move the
camera ... and simulate the left and right eye positions.
And the shift in views needs to be very slight ...
