Thank you for reminding me just how much this image has improved since
I completed it the first time. That's why I keep the old versions.

My first image, probably from 1989 or 1990. This was done with DKBTrace
2.12, which became POVRay 0.5 sometime soon afterwards. I originally
Rendered this on an 80386DX running at 25MHz. Here's a link to it (I'm
posting from the web interface):

Is it time for a remake? :)

Hmm...I guess this would be the first complete POV image I've still
got, though I remember playing around with a glass sphere with a
light in it and a media-filled space and a converted starfury mesh
back in '98...

My first POV image, which was actually much better than my next 4-5... Just
a link, no image since I'm at work...

Hey guys!

Who would throw away his first rendered picture? Well not me, here it
comes...
It's pretty young compared to the ones done with DKBTrace - this one was
made using POV 3.1 :)

I had to rerender this one.
The only change I made was to comment out the radiosity statements
because POV 3.5 turns it on without +QR.
Geez, guys, remember when you weren't supposed to stop a radiosity trace?
This is two planes, and a beginner's study in CSG.
circa 1998 the beginning of my pov obsession.
jpg quality is way low, so if it looks bad, I might update.
Hope you like,
Bill
