hello! just thought i'd post an image that i was playing with just to work
on randomness, macros, and placing objects relative to other objects (like
the spheres sometimes on the taller blocks and sometimes on the shorter
ones)
its not much, but i've just been handcoding a lot more lately and this was a
good excercise.
I think Jaime had posted a mosaic type image, if you read this, how did you
go about using a bitmap to color individual objects of the mosaic? or does
anyone else know?

I posted such an image.
I went back into the archives for p.b.scene-files (I think)
and found Gena's posts for 'filters.' Then I popped open her
macros and saw how she did it.
Her technique has you using an image map to define a pigment,
and then using the eval_pigment function to sample the pigment
at various intervals. I just used it to sample the image
map at equivalent intervals to the tiles I was placing in
the mosaic.
