Folks:

Just sketched together a cookie jar this afternoon.
I'll have to set this one out for Santa on Christmas
Eve.

I'd adjust that orange pebble on the left breaking through the top
edge.

Oh, come on, guys ...

I don't take drugs, nor do I condone others' drug use.
In my mind, it is a serious health and social problem,
and one that it is costly and dangerous for law-abiding
citizens like me.

Thanks for the good feedback, Apache. I'll try to
put some larger renders somewhere this weekend. Steve,
yeah, that one piece does look a bit out of place.
I just sort of threw this together in a few minutes.
I will see if I can make some improvements here
shortly.

      Heh, I'm not a natural nit-picker, honest! :)

Pretty damned good for the time spent on it though. Reminds me of
trinket boxes that you can buy as souvenirs at the beach, only covered
with sea shells instead.

It looks very small, so put something in the scene to show how bit the
jar is, such as some biscuits and a glass of milk.

Good idea.

I'm going to pull out POV-Ray today and try to model a
whole scene. It's a much bigger challenge to do that,
especially since I'm not very good at modelling. The
cookie jar is just a few cylinders, spheres and tori
thrown together.

I tried with a glass of milk, but I was unable to
produce anything that looked much like one. :/
Same with cookies.
