See the source in p.b.s.f.
Just a demonstration of a tchnique which could be used like
3D filter :)
The first image is my photo.
The second image is a photo "filtered" by my macro (after Van Gogh :)
The third image is the photo "filtered" by the same macro (after
pointilists:
Seurat, Signac, Cross...)
Feel free to modify that macro. Maybe you will come up with smth. useful
:)
Gena.

Nicely done. Might we have a Kandinsky filter next? :-)

Playing here, I put this in for the Stroke object:
// rotate <cntX/strokesX*360, -(360 + (360 * rand(lseed))),
cntZ/strokesZ*360>
rotate <0, -(360 + (360 * rand(lseed))), 0>
Got irregular or semi-irregular brush strokes for the Van Gogh.
BTW, you hadn't put a actual binary file there at p.b.s-f... oops! :-)

I'm not sure about Kandinsky but it's easy for Malevich ;)

On my P3 128Mb - parsing took about 1.5 min. and rendering about 2 min.
for Van Gogh and about 1 min. for pointilism.
