I was reading through the posts (It's been a while since I posted
here.) and found one from marabou about creating a brick structure with
pre-defined objects.
I was having a similar problem creating the below scene, and couldn't
find a macro that I could use online, so I created my own.
The macro takes the parameters for inner and outer radius. Then
finds the value of one foot degrees by taking C/360, this value is
multiplied by the length of the brick plus the width of the mortar to
produce a rotational value around the y axis. The result is a curved
wall, clipped by an opposing difference between two boxes and a
cylinder.
This result is then scaled to the desired height by layering the
bricks, with each layer staggered.
I can post the code for this macro if anyone is interested.
