Here is a model I worked on last weekend. Still have a ways to go. All
modeling was done with POV script using primitives and csg. Q's, C's?

Oh, your God! (And mine, if you're Christian. :) That is amazing! I wish I
could think in csg like that.

First of all, very nice, esp, having all been done with CSG. My only real
problem is that it looks like a toy, or a small model. You need something to
add scale to it. I think it has something to do with the focal blur in the
first pic mixed with the plastic-y looking texture on the body. With work,
could be very very good.

It is the inapropriate use of a narrow DOF that makes it look small.
At that distance an object of that size would not look like that with such
a field of view. The looking down on the subject aspect also makes it look
toy like.
Very nice CSG work though.

I was pretty much just playing with focal_blur settings. I don't plan on
using it in the final render... besides it would take too long with
radiosity and fb mixed :)

Wow, excellent
I'd recommend roughing up the textures some with dirt, rust, etc.

Nice. I know doing this kind of CSG work can be much fun, but it can also
get a bit boring sometimes and math can become rather complicated when
handling complex surfaces.
How about animating it?
