Hi tracers!
Yes, radiosity really is fun... this is my very first scene with no
light source at all, radiosity at default settings (and it rendered
quite fast, only 43 seconds!).
But the old problem lingers on: whenever I try more than 4 iterations of
fractal subdivision, I get the message "Too many nested objects -
rendering error". Firstly, I thought that it was because of the cubes
hidden inside larger cubes, so I sorted them out, then I tried hollow
cubes - but none of these modifications changed the result.
Could it be that this *always* occurs when objects of different
iterations overlap?
And still another, more general question: does anyone around know of
general introductions into fractal 3d geometry somewhere on the
Internet?
See you in Khyberspace! (Homepage will soon be re-established)
