The image shows 2 iso-surfaces.

I used 2 textures I really love:
Soft_Silver and New_Penny from
textures.inc

The 8 small tori has exactly the
same radius as the big one.

I hope you like it, even if the
textures, lights and background
are quite simple.

I like it. Let large torus glow a bit and you can sell it as an reactor for
nuclear fusion ;-)

But I don't think that I have ever made any
POV-objects that glows yet. I would need to
investigate the possibilities.

- So maybe it's about time now, after more
than 2 years of POV-ing.

Is media a good candidate for glowing objects ?

Media is the way you should go :-)
