Greetings! I've never posted here before, though I've enjoyed looking
at and attempting to learn from the images of others. Anyway, I finally
got around to downloading the POV-Ray 3.5 beta and have been having far
too much fun with textures & suchlike. Since fractals can now be used
as pigments and normals and I've seen about ten zillion fractal
landscapes ("weird looking jagged rocks overlooking water"), I decided
to create a fractal landscape of my own. I may have gone a little
overboard with the fractality of it all, but had fun doing it and
thought I'd share.

but in order to join this exclusive club, might i ask where is your

It looks good, but as Rick said you should do something about the moire
patterns.

Nice, especially the distant landscape. Is there any chance of getting the
source?

Cool. The really clever touch was to use a
fractal for the clouds, in addition to all the fractals
you are already using! Neat!
