Hi there!

After having finished my latest image, I went on straight to this one. I
did want to make it for
the new IRTC Stills contest, but then thought better (or worse) and just
wanted to make it
and get it finished. I could still enter it, though I hesitate cause I
think it's kinda far fetched for
the topic.

So, comments and criticism welcome, I'm far from finished and would like
some suggestions...

So far a very good work.

Technically I like the textures (you're using variable reflections, aren't you?), but
I would use a warmer color for the lighting (I feel a little cold when I look at this
:).

Concerning the theme, I love the heart-shape idea, but I would make every
'love-scene' more symbolic, or specific. I mean, while some of the scenes shown are
clearly understandable (I got the 'trust' scene at the bottom of the heart, the
'passion' at the lower-left corner but the other ones look less specific...), for the
other ones I can only try and guess what they refer to exactly.

Yup, using variable reflection. You mean some light with a little orange touch, or
perhaps more into the red? I'll look and see what I can do...

In this I totally agree. Some of the scenes I had a t first put together rather quick,
and
those are still during development (the "trust" one was changed so that they actually
hold
each other's fingers, and "passion" was made a little more passionate). Others I
intended
to
be more unspecific, to give something to think about. The couple just watching each
other

at the center was meant to be something abstract like them still being together though
not
in touch.
The white figures are protecting the sleeping ones, but that is defenitely not
finished.
Both
of them don't seem to fit together (or regarding each other, for that matter, being
the
only couples with different colors). You probably know that image of the heart with
two white wings? That's what it's supposed to hint at.

I'm also thinking about throwing in some warm particles, but I'm as of yet undecided.
It
does pretty well on it's own.
