So, this is what I came up with, and what I think fits best in what I wanted
to achieve. If you have other ideas for her hand, why don't you go ahead and
make an image yourself? I'd be interested to see how the main-idea can be
interpreted...
I've used a height-field for the waves caused by the woman, and used 3 planes to
create the clouds. Though it's not too realistic, I think it has a nice mood, and
that's
all I wanted to achieve with this one.
Any comments?
Tim

Very nice - I'd lower her buttocks a little into the water, they look a little
too firm (I'm assuming that lowering them is easier than flattening them).

IMHO the heart should not match her in both texture and *quality*
of color. It should be rounded and full and of a red texture
that clearly is other than she is made out of- and more perhaps
more lively/complex than it is; a contrast that is still embraced
by her hand so to speak.
After all it is a featured part of the composition.

I liked the original, but I think these are good ideas.

Yeah, I like this one. The waves look good, and I like the new texture for the woman,
much more *relaxing*.
I would still put some work on the clouds: 3 planes sounds not sufficient if you're
aiming to a 'realistic look' (aren't you). I would try with at least 20 or 30. At the
moment it's difficult to 'locate' every single cloud, and it suffers a bit at the
horizon.
Here's an example of what I mean: in this pic all the clouds have a 3d appearance,
and can be easily distinguish from each other. In your scene, at the moment, it's
difficult to locate where a cloud begins and where another one.
I'm fussy just because I find this one a beautiful scene. :-)

This looks much better than the original, but could use some changes as
mentioned by others.
Keep up the good work.

I think she needs some sort of hair. The bald head isn't working for me. =)

Very good! I has improved a lot. Any chance of getting either 1280x960
render or source, I'd like to use it as desktop wallpaper?

Well, I guess you two are right about enhancing the heart a little more.
I'll look into it...

Ok, I'll try!
Thanks for the note on 20 planes, I always thought somewhat around 5 could do the job,
but guess
I was wrong! ;)
