I'm assuming that it's either a heavily turbulenced norma, or it's an
isosurface plane with turbulence...

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is an "isosurface"? I can't find
anything on it in the docs.

IIRC, it's a Megapatch feature that is now in POV-Ray 3.5 beta.
