This is a simple still life i have been working on for the last month
(so long cause of working on textures and getting money for more RAM)

61MB of meshes converted from 3ds files taken from 3dcafe.com
22 textures that are either from scratch or modifications of existing
textures in moray.
one even with media emissions. all the wooden textures are standard.

all placed with moray.
took over 4 hour (I think. forgot to save the screen) to render.
useds radiosity (normal settings.
9x9 area light with adaptive 3

any suggestions?

Concerning lighting and radiosity: the shadows below the plate and the
coffee mill are fairly bright. Light seems to come from straight above so
you probably should work on the objects' finishes. Also totally black
environment is usually not very useful for radiosity.

Do you use 3.1 or megapov radiosity?

Christoph
