This image appeared when I feeded a torus
function with noise3d.

Please comment.

This one would fit in the X-Files series.

Nice one and somewhat scary

Thank you for your compliments.

To Christoph Hormann:

By feeding I meant that I gave the values
that were returned from 3 different calls
to the noise3d function as inputs for the
x, y and z parameters in a call to a torus
function.

For some reason, just as I was drifting off to sleep last night, this image
popped into my head, along with the thought..

'Is this where lava lamps are born?'

All the best,

Andy Cocker

Very cool.

Could you render a larger version?

Pete

I have enclosed a 1027x768 version.
(This time with "wrinkles")

If you want another size or an image without
the "wrinkles", then I can post the source
so that you can render it the way you like.

Hehe

=)

Or maybe it is a lava lamp graveyard ?

(Note that the lava isn't moving.)
