Radiosity, media within the glass, etc,
(and very little dispersion)

Please, only post jpegs to this group. (Yes, that means you'll have to
convert them with an image editor.)
The image is nice, I like how sleek the board is, but wouldn't it be hard to
tell apart the peices? =)
It might benefit from higher AA settings, and perhaps an area light.

Oh, yeah, this set would be very annoying to use indeed.
But, hey, whatever... :)
Best,
S.

Hey! I like it! What kind of game is it?
I love making games with POV-Ray. I'm planning on a new web-based game for
this summer. And the graphics off course based on POV-Ray output!

(evil Laughter) mouahahaha
I saw a set ressembling this one, the board made of
glass or maybe plexyglass. I thought that the chessmen
themselves were highly unrecognisable, that it would
have little playability, because each time you'd look at
a piece, you'd ask yourself "hum... what`s this one again?"
But, hey, whatever. Just a povexperiment.
Best,
S.

I tend to post PNGs only if they're under 100k.

Yeah, there are exceptions. I just wanted to keep things simple.
