This is the first time I have noticed that the TIF master looked a
little out of focus compared to the JPG. However, I then discovered
that thw Windows Picture And Fax Viewer was the only thing doing this.

An image_pattern using a grey-scaled version of the standard nude
Poser 3 female texture. However, to get that cel-look, a facet normal
was used, coupled with "unatural" diffuse and ambient values.

The image_pattern merely allowed more texture control - but I suspect
I could have gotten something similar with a modified "flattened"
Poser texture. However, this does allow one to replace textures on a
model with pure POV textures.
