Steven, I've taken the liberty to render your first sparkly with my 
dispersion jitter patch and I've found it's the first really good example 
of how useful this can be. Would you believe me if I told you that this 
image used only 4 samples? You can see a very nice rainbow inside the near 
crystal and the rainbow caustic on the floor is complete without any gaps. 
Something I didn't expect was how the the caustics came out completely 
solid without any speckles or grainyness. I guess POV's photon gathering 
works really well.

PS. Hope you don't mind me jacking your image for this example.
