Thanks for all the comments people.
I think that I am going to stick with the poser person, since the image
that i intend to submit is a much higher resolution and the differences
between the poser person and the blobby person are quite significant
when the person is bigger.
I'm not really feeling guilty about not keeping the blobby man, because
the poser man took just as long to do, it was just a different form of
artwork, but with much more realistic results. I will always have my own
personal satisfaction that the blobby man was also successful,
regardless of which image I show to the judges :)
I'm just waiting on a high quality render now and will be submitting
tommorrow.
Thanks again for all your nice comments. I'm looking forward to entering
the future irtc's.

Nice stuff!
Doesn't look so lonely to me ... This is my idea of paradise.
Finally, some peace and quiet!
My opinion is ... Toss out the Poser model and go with your own
thing.
Even if you rate lower with the IRTC judges, you will have the
satisfaction
of having submitted something that is completely your own creation.
